【摘要】:ThispartofIEC1300describestheproceduretomeasurethefar-endcrosstalkoflightbetweenchannelsofamultiportM×Nor1×Nfibreopticpassivecomponents(switch,WDMor,inparticularcases,fan-out).Thefar-endcrosstalkisdefinedastheratiooftheopticalpowerthatgoesoutfromagivenoutputporttoanopticalpowerthatgoesoutfromanotheroutputport,nominallyisolatedfromthepreviousone.ForWDMsthesignaltravellinginthetwooutputpathshavedifferentwavelengthsandthefar-endcrosstalkcorrespondstotheratiooftheopticalpower,atagivenwavelength,thatgoesoutfromthecorrespondingoutputporttoanopticalpower,atthesamewavelength,thatgoesoutfromanotheroutputport,nominallyisolatedfromthepreviousoneatthatwavelength.ForWDMcomponentsthetermisolationismorecommonlyusedthanfar-endcrosstalk.
