【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesaguideforevaluationoftheapparentdensityphysicalcharacteristicofpowders.Thedensitymeasuredbearsarelationshiptothemassofpowderthatwillfillafixedvolumepresscavitywhenpartsarebeingmade.Thedegreeofcorrelationbetweentheresultsofthistestandthequalityofpowdersinusewillvarywitheachparticularapplication.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedurefordeterminingtheapparentdensityoffree-flowingmetalpowdersandissuitableforonlythosepowdersthatwillflowunaidedthroughthespecifiedHallflowmeterfunnel.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
