【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsonthestructureofbuilt-inandfree-standingkitchenunits,worktops,andbreakfastbarsincludingthosewithglassintheirconstruction.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletounitsafterinstallation.Itisnotapplicabletocateringequipment.However,safetydependingonthestructureofthebuildingisnotincluded;e.g.thestrengthofwall-hangingcabinetsincludesonlythecabinetanditsparts,thewallandthewallattachmentarenotincluded.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequirementstopreventseriousinjurythroughnormalfunctionaluse,aswellasmisusethatmightreasonablybeexpectedtooccur.Itshouldbeunderstoodthatthetestsdonotensurethatstructuralfailurewillnoteventuallyoccurasaresultofhabitualmisuseorafteranexcessivelylongperiodofservice.Assessmentofageing,degradationandtheheatingeffectofappliancesarenotincluded,noraretheergonomicaspectsofsafetyandtheresistancetofire.
