【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsforfabricatedormoldedpoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)gasketedsewerfittingstobeusedwithpipingmanufacturedtoSpecificationsD3034,F679,F891orF1760.Fabricatedfittingsmaybemanufacturedfrompipe,orfromacombinationofpipeandinjectionmoldedparts,orfrominjectionmoldedparts.1.2TherequirementsofthisspecificationaretoprovidefabricatedormoldedPVCgasketedfittingssuitablefornon-pressuredrainageofsewageandsurfacewater,aswellasapplicationsinvolvingsubsurfacedrainage.Note18212;Industrialwastelinesshouldbeinstalledonlywiththespecificapprovalofthegoverningcodeauthoritywhenusingchemicalsnotcommonlyfoundindrainsandsewersortemperaturesinexcessof140176;F(60176;C),orboth.1.3Fittingsproducedtothisspecificationareintendedtobeinstalledwithpipe,inaccordancewithPracticeD2321.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsaregiveninparentheses.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainstothetestmethodportiononly,Section10,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
